Ameneh Muhammad Nassir, a researcher and scholar in Cairo’s Al-Azhar University, and Fatemeh Kishk, a physician, learned about different activities of IQNA during the visit.
They have been in Iran to attend the 9th International Congress of Women Quran Researchers which was held on Thursday, November 17.
Ameneh Muhammad Nassir presented a paper at the congress on the theme of “Importance of Woman in Islam”.
During the visit, they voiced readiness to cooperate with the news agency. They also stressed that Iran and Egypt have a lot in common including devotion to Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
They said the two nations have been brothers both before and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
IQNA’s officials also said they are interested in having cooperation with Al-Azhar scholars and the Quranic centers of Egypt.
