IQNA – Imam Reza holy shrine’s Islamic Research Foundation has published a new book in French language titled “Islamic Charity Work; from Theory to Practice.”

The new book, originally written in Arabic by prominent Kuwaiti author Isa Ashkanani, shares insights from his extensive experience in charity and philanthropy.

Ashkanani has worked in countries including Iran, Iraq, India, Yemen, the Persian Gulf states, and several African nations, offering perspectives on Islamic charity and its role in strengthening social bonds.

The book discusses effective methods for conducting charitable activities and provides guidance on charity from the perspectives of Quranic verses and traditions. It addresses approaches for individuals, groups, and organizations.

The French translation of the book has been published in an initial run of 500 copies, following earlier editions in Farsi and English. A Turkish translation is also set for release soon.

Notably active across Africa, Ashkanani has contributed to infrastructure, mosque construction, and entrepreneurial initiatives in over 15 countries. His efforts have helped lift hundreds of families from poverty to sustainable income through entrepreneurship.
