Imam Ali Shrine Decorated with Flowers for Mid-Shaaban Eid

IQNA – The holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq, has been decorated with flowers on the occasion of Mid-Shaaban Eid.

The auspicious occasion marks the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent). 

According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, the servants of the holy site adorned the sacred mausoleum with a variety of flowers.

A large number of pilgrims are expected to visit the Imam Ali (AS) shrine on Mid-Shaaban.

The Mid-Shaaban Eid falls on the 15th day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban.

Shia Muslims all over the world will celebrate the auspicious occasion on February 14 this year.
