Photos: Dusting Ceremony Held at Imam Reza’s Shrine Ahead of Karamat Week
IQNA – On the eve of Karamat Week and the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), a ceremonial dusting of the sacred Imam Reza (AS) was held at the holy shrine in Mashhad on April 28, 2025.
The event was attended by the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, along with a number of scholars, families of martyrs, artists, shrine servants, and members of the public.
Karamat Week marks the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), falling on April 29 and May 9 this year, respectively. It is a time of pilgrimage, celebrations, and cultural events, particularly in cities like Mashhad and Qom.
