Speaking to IQNA on the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Raisi, Saed Hassouna said the former Iranian president left behind a legacy that will not be forgotten, and his name will live on as a model of selfless service to Islam for generations to come.
“Martyr Raisi was not only a prominent politician, but also a servant of the Quran, which made him exceptionally prominent in the international arena. The personal history and words of the Martyr Raisi are embodied in the fact that he devoted his life to serving the Islamic values and defending the issues of the Islamic Ummah, which has earned him widespread respect and admiration.”
One of the most remarkable moments in the life of Martyr Raisi was when he raised the Quran at the United Nations, he said.
“This move, which was unprecedented in the history of this international organization, embodied the deep commitment of Martyr Raisi to the Quran and his faith and belief that the message of Islam is the message of peace and justice.
“This was not just a symbolic religious act, but an expression of Islamic identity and the dissemination of Quranic values at the international level. It drew widespread attention and emphasized the status of the (former Iranian president) as a leader who dared to highlight his principles and communicate his message to the world.”
The media activist referred to the participation of Martyr Raisi in Quranic programs such as the International Quranic Competitions and the Tehran International Quran Exhibition, saying that his adherence and commitment to the Quran was not only in words, but also in his actions and it was manifested in his active participation in national and international Quranic programs.

“He had a prominent role in the Quran expo and always encouraged the study and meditation in the Quran. He also participated in national and international Quran memorization and recitation competitions and celebrated the memorizers of the Quran.”
Noting that Martyr Raisi had a strong passion for the dissemination of Quranic culture, Hassouna said his support for Quranic activities was not only material support but also included his personal involvement in this field, and this reflected his deep interest in the Quran and his commitment to the dissemination of the Quranic message.
The Palestinian media activist further stressed the firm position of Martyr Raisi in supporting the Palestinian Islamic resistance.
“Martyr Raisi was not only a political figure, but also a symbol of the Islamic resistance. He took a serious and detailed position on the Islamic resistance in general and the Palestinian cause and the inhumane war in Gaza in particular.
