The ministry announced that the exam is held with the aim of selecting the best Yemeni memorizers to be sent to international Quran competitions, cratar.net reported.
It said the registration period for the selection exam has been extended until the end of August.
The ministry added that by extending the registration deadline, it is trying to provide more opportunities for talented memorizers (male and female) to test their Quranic abilities.
According to the announcement, this exam will be held in the fields of memorization of the entire Quran, recitation with Tajweed, and mastery of the ten recitations.
The ministry asked interested Quran activists who meet the necessary conditions and qualifications for participating in the exam to view and fill out the special form on the ministry’s website.

This test is part of the ministry’s policies aimed at identifying Quranic talents from different provinces and preparing them for prominent presence in international circles, and it shows the country’s position in Quranic programs, it went on to say.
