Yemen’s Higher Academy of Quran Launches Activities to Celebrate Milad-un-Nabi

IQNA – Activities related to commemorating the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday were launched in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a on Monday.

The Higher Academy of Quran and Its Sciences, female branch Sana’a, began the activities under the theme of the Quranic verse: “But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all] good things...” (Verse 88 of Surah At-Tawbah)

Deputy Dean Hanan al-Ezzi highlighted guidelines from Leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi emphasizing the importance of honoring the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) status among Muslims, especially Yemenis.

Students Batoul al-Qadi and Ikhlas Aboud stressed the significance of the Prophet's (PBUH) birthday, known as Milad-un-Nabi, as a pivotal event reinforcing noble values, reflecting Yemen’s steadfast support for Palestine as a religious and humanitarian duty.
