Quranic Programs for Women at Mecca Grand Mosque Benefit Thousands

IQNA – A series of Quranic, guidance, and volunteer programs were organized for women at the Grand Mosque in Mecca during the lunar Hijri month of Muharram this year.

The Quranic and other programs at Islam’s holiest site served more than 400,000 female worshippers, according to the Women's Affairs Agency under the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

Monthly statistics recorded 44,517 beneficiaries of the Quran recitation and memorization program, 4,084 participants in volunteer initiatives, 999 users of the Question Answering Service, and 351,514 beneficiaries of religious guidance and counseling programs.

These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to enhance women’s services at the Grand Mosque and to provide a distinguished faith-based experience for worshippers.
