Real Valladolid held a press conference to present Jaouab, following his transfer from French side Rennes. The event was marked by a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
The conference began in an unusual way, with the club’s sporting director, Victor Orta, reciting Verses 39 to 41 of the Holy Quran’s Surah An-Najm.
“There are verses in the Quran that say, ‘And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives. And that his effort is going to be seen. Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense.’ So, may the reward be your success in this club, which will be the success of everyone,” Otra said.
The Moroccan defender, for his part, expressed his ambition and determination to give his best in order to contribute to the team’s progress, both individually and collectively.
Jouab spoke in Arabic, assisted by a translator. He expressed full confidence in his coach, saying, “I have great confidence in the coach, and I am working hard to bring out the best in me on the field as soon as he decides.”

Highlighting his strengths, he added, “I always rely on my intelligence on the field, in addition to my physical strength, but intelligence remains my most important weapon.”
