IQNA – People in the British capital of Landon staged a huge rally to condemn the Israeli regime’s blockade of the Gaza Strip that has led to famine in the Palestinian enclave.

Protestors marched to the Israeli Embassy in London

The demonstrators protested against Israel’s blockade and military operations in the Gaza Strip. They sought to draw the attention of the international community to the suffering of civilians facing hunger and deprivation.

Thousands of protesters gathered in front of the Israeli embassy in central London. Holding pots and pans in their hands, participants banged on them with spoons and metal objects, symbolically highlighting the dire conditions in Gaza. Through this act, they emphasized that because of Israel’s pressure and restrictions, Palestinian civilians are dying of hunger.

Protesters carried various banners with slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine,” “Justice for Gaza,” and “Hunger is not a weapon.” In doing so, they expressed their stance not only against the humanitarian crisis but also against Israel’s control and occupation policies over Gaza.

Organizers noted that this demonstration showed that the British public is not indifferent to the events in Gaza. According to them, if the international community does not take serious measures, the consequences of hunger and deprivation may become even worse.
