The competition began on Sunday, August 31, at the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Kairouan, Mosaic FM website reported.
It was organized by the International Association for Celebrating the Birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Kairouan, in cooperation with the National Association of the Holy Quran.
It marked the beginning of the international ceremonies and events marking the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birth anniversary, known as Milad-un-Nabi.
The contest witnessed a significant presence of participants from the province of Kairouan and Quran students from the Kairouan Quranic Association.
Dozens of Quran memorizers and enthusiasts of the Prophet’s (PBUH) Sunnah participated in this Quranic event, which provided an opportunity for young people to get to know each other and exchange their experiences.
It was the first activity within the framework of the International Festival of the Prophet's Birthday (PBUH) in Kairouan, which includes a series of scientific meetings, religious lectures, and cultural activities and will continue over the course of a week.
