The association held a cultural event on Monday evening to honor the winners of the Quran contest and other national competitions, Al-Akhbar reported.
It included artistic segments and activities aimed at raising awareness among the Mauritanian community, and addressed local community issues, including the dangers of bad companions for children in urban families and frequent water and electricity outages.
In his speech at the event, Eldah Hassan, president of the association, emphasized that it is a platform for the aspirations of young people and an open space for cultural, sports and social talents.
He called on Mauritanian citizens to actively participate in the association’s programs, emphasizing that it does not exclude anyone and welcomes all those who seek to serve the people.
He also stated group activities are the most effective way to advance society and address the challenges ahead.
