Speaking at an open session of the Parliament in Tehran on Sunday morning, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said, “The Gaza ceasefire was a defeat for the Israeli regime’s dirty prime minister’s plans to compensate for the failure of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.”
He emphasized the Islamic Republic’s support for any initiative to end war crimes and genocide in Gaza that is supported by the Palestinian people, adding that a permanent halt to this genocide and an end to the aggression and occupation of Gaza, a withdrawal from the occupation, the opening of the crossings, and the free entry of food, medicine, and other essential data-x-items into Gaza are among the urgent demands of the Palestinian people and resistance groups, which are also emphasized by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“Over the past two years, the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iran’s Parliament) has consistently worked in international forums to establish a ceasefire and stop the genocide in Gaza, in cooperation with all countries in the world, especially the parliaments of the Islamic world,” he noted.
Ghalibaf noted that after two years of genocide, famine, and the killing of women and children, the resistance of the people of Gaza and the support of all the pillars of the resistance axis caused the world to rise up against “these 21st century Nazis, and ultimately the United States and this regime were forced to admit defeat and sign a ceasefire that did not achieve any of the stated goals.”
He added that i is an undeniable fact that today, despite the heavy costs they have paid, the Palestinian people have not only imposed their demands on the criminal Zionist regime, but the Zionists have also become the most hated figures in the world.”
Emphasizing that the world has entered an era of awakening that can no longer be reversed or extinguished, he said, “Israeli criminals are isolated and hated, and Palestine is proud and free.”
He added that it is a reasonable expectation that governments, international courts, and institutions with jurisdiction will pursue the trial of the Zionist criminal leaders and other perpetrators and instigators of the genocide in Gaza, and not allow the entire prestige of these institutions to become the playthings of a few unruly criminals.

“The international community must consider itself responsible and committed to preventing the occupation regime from violating its promise,” he said, adding that the Palestinians and resistance groups are vigilant and aware in this regard.
In conclusion, Ghalibaf honored the memory of all the martyrs of the resistance, including martyrs Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Seyed Hashem Safieddine, who sacrificed their sweet lives in the way of pushing back the Zionist enemy.
