A forum was held Monday night, November 12, at the Iranian cultural center in Amman, Jordan, to investigate different aspects of Islamic Awakening.
Iranian ambassador to Jordan and a number of Jordanian prayer leaders, university scholars and lawyers were present at the forum, which was titled “Islamic Awakening and Defending Sanctities”.
“The conspiracies of Jews and Christians against Islam from the era of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) until now”, “Role of the West’s Violent and Inhuman Culture in the Opening of Crusades, and Colonizing and Killing Muslims in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan”, and “Role of Wahabism, Al-Qaeda, and Taliban in Portraying a Negative and Violent Image of Islam” were among the themes of the event.
The participants also raised a number of other issues including international bodies’ silence over desecration of Islamic sanctities, the Zionist-American-Arab ploy for creating crisis in Syria, and the West’s move to take Iranian satellite TV channels off air.
They underlined the need for Muslims to learn about the culture of Ghadir and Mubahila and stay vigilant against the Wahabis’ attempts to foment discord among Islamic schools of thought.
