The society’s director general, Dhari al-Baijan, said over 80 Kuwaiti institutions contributed to the campaign.
He said the funds raised in the campaign will be given to Kuwait’s ministry of foreign affairs to be spent for sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Al-Baijan said the society seeks to draw attentions to the need for helping the people of Gaza.
He underlined that the society will continue to help the brothers in the Palestinian enclave.
