The recording was carried out by the International Center for Quranic Preaching of the shrine. The recitation features the voice of Ali Hassan Shamran, a qari and memorizer, who is also a participant in Iraq’s National Program for Supporting Quranic Talents.
This second murattal Quran was recorded in the Warsh ‘an Nafi’ narration.
It is the first full Quran recitation in this narration to be produced in the studios of Karbala Quran Satellite Channel.
Sheikh Ali Aboud al-Taie, deputy director of the center, said the project took more than eight months to complete.

According to al-Taie, the young reciter delivered the Quran with strong and confident performance. He said this demonstrates the progress made by students participating in the national talent support program.
He stressed that the recording is “an important achievement for Quranic talents” and adds to the center’s efforts to serve the Holy Quran and provide diverse recitations.
The first murattal Quran at the Imam Hussein Shrine was recorded by Iraqi memorizer Montazer Raad.
The second recording, produced within the Quranic talent program, is part of the center’s ongoing work to support reciters and memorizers and enhance their vocal and performance skills.
