Hamas, Islamic Jihad Laud Anti-Israeli Operation near Mossad Headquarters
At least six Israeli settlers were killed and dozens more sustained injuries in a truck-ramming retaliatory operation at a bus stop near the Glilot Base north of the commercial hub of Tel Aviv in the occupied territories on Sunday morning.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad described the operation as a natural response to the Israeli regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people.
In a statement about the operation, Hamas said:
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The heroic runover operation that took place near the "Mossad" headquarters north of "Tel Aviv," resulting in numerous casualties among the soldiers of the occupation army, is a natural response to the Zionist occupation’s crimes against our Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds, as well as its ongoing brutal massacres, particularly in northern Gaza, where the most horrific acts of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of innocent civilians are being committed.
We commend this heroic operation, which reaffirms that our steadfast Palestinian people continue to challenge the Zionist machine of murder and terror and remains committed to the path of resistance and sacrifice until the will of the fascist enemy is broken, it is defeated, and it is held accountable for its brutal crimes against our Palestinian people.
We honor the jihad and bravery of our valiant resistance and our rebellious youth across all our occupied land, who continue to strike this arrogant enemy. We call for increased resistance and confrontation with the occupation soldiers and settler mobs, to amplify the voice of our steadfast, resolute people and their right to freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.”

In a separate statement, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad said:

We commend the heroic "Tel Aviv" operation targeting soldiers and officers from the Zionist Military Intelligence Unit 8200. This is a natural response to the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against our resolute, steadfast people, the latest being acts of genocide in northern Gaza.
The steadfastness and willpower of our people are manifested today in their finest form through the heroic "Tel Aviv" operation. The continuation of resistance in the West Bank, Gaza, southern Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq inflicting pain upon the enemy confirms that the resistance still holds the initiative and is always prepared to deliver painful strikes to the occupying entity.
The Islamic Jihad Movement affirms that the resistance, supported by its steadfast people, will continue to confront the enemy’s schemes across the entirety of occupied Palestine.
We salute the spirit of rising jihad and resistance among our people within the occupied Palestinian territories, and we pray to Allah to accept their martyrs in the highest gardens of paradise.
Indeed it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.
