The initiative aims to enhance Quranic education for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), particularly the hearing-impaired, Bernama reported on Thursday.
The donation, made through Dar Al Qari Resources, was announced by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) deputy vice chancellor, Prof Nik Salida Suhaila Nik Salleh.
The foundation, established by Datuk Rizalman Ibrahim, will assist USIM Ibnu Ummi Maktum Research Centre (UMMI) in completing the MSL translation of the Quran, which currently includes only Juz Amma and selected surahs.
"This project will run for six years, starting from this month until October 2030," Prof Nik Salida stated.
