Thailand to Host MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2025 in July

IQNA – The Thai capital of Bangkok is set to host a major halal exhibition in July.

 

MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2025, organized by ComAsia Co., Ltd., Worldex G.E.C. Co., Ltd., and the Islamic Committee of Thailand, is set to take place from July 16-18, 2025, at BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, The Nation reported on Saturday.  

The event will run alongside MEGA Show Bangkok 2025, showcasing Thailand’s ambition to become a leading hub in the global halal market. 

The exhibition is expected to feature over 400-500 companies from 10 countries, presenting halal-certified products spanning industries such as food and beverages, fashion, beauty, wellness, health, and tourism.

More than 15,000 vendors and manufacturers will participate, catering to the growing global demand for halal products, fueled by a demographic of over 2 billion Muslims worldwide. 

During the press conference, the organizers pointed to the significance of halal certification beyond dietary requirements. According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismael Ali of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, halal encompasses a broader lifestyle guided by Islamic principles. 

Thailand currently boasts over 7,000 certified halal operators and a market valued at $2,247 million for 2023-2024. The event aims to expand these opportunities, with expectations of drawing international buyers and fostering sustainable growth in the halal industry.
