Cleric Ties Iran’s Strong Military Resistance against Israel to Relying on Quranic Culture

IQNA – A senior Iranian cleric linked the steadfastness of the country’s armed forces in confronting the Israeli regime during the recent 12-day war to relying on the Quranic culture.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Bahman, head of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force’s Ideo-Political Organization, said the armed forces stood against the Zionist regime thanks to their reliance on the culture of the Holy Quran, self-sacrifice and martyrdom. 

Quranic education programs to its armed forces’ ideological stance against Israel, citing a 251% growth in religious activities within the Air Defense Force.

He made the remarks in a speech during the 25th Quran competition for the force’s female employees, spouses, and children of military personnel.

He emphasized that Quranic teachings and the martyrdom culture are shared values among Air Defense Force personnel.

“Serving the Quran and training Quran-literate personnel are among our ideological office’s proudest achievements,” he stated.

Hojat-ol-Islam Bahman, added, “In recent years, we’ve seen significant quantitative and qualitative growth in Quranic education across our force.”

He said this growth has been observable in different fields including Quranic education, competitions and virtual platforms.
