Witnesses and medics reported that five members of one family were burned alive when an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Shati refugee camp in western Gaza City. In another attack nearby, four more people, including children, were killed when Israeli fire struck a tent near the Islamic University.
The bombardment also hit homes. In the southern Sabra neighborhood, two children were killed when Israeli shells struck a house.

In the Zeitoun district, four members of the same family died and several others were injured after warplanes targeted a building filled with displaced people, sparking a fire that engulfed the shelter, according to Anadolu Agency.
In central Gaza, eight civilians were shot dead by Israeli forces near an aid distribution point in Nuseirat refugee camp, according to Al-Awda hospital. A further five people, including a child, were killed when Israeli jets pounded houses in the same camp.
The toll continued in Khan Younis, where an airstrike killed a woman and her two children, one of them a toddler. Another strike on a tent in Al-Mawasi injured at least 12 displaced people.
