IRGC Emphasizes Failure of US-Israeli Plans to Weaken Islamic Resistance
In a statement on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement Hezbollah, including Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayed Hashem Safieddine, as well as IRGC commander Major General Abbas Nilforoushan, the IRGC said stressed the importance of adherence to the principles and ideals of the resistance and loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.
The chaotic dreams and sinister plans of the Zionist and American currents to weaken or destroy the resistance have repeatedly failed, and by God’s grace, this time too, they will bear no fruit except disgrace and humiliation for the enemies, it stated.
The IRGC added that the security and dignity of the Islamic Ummah and the countries of the region today are not the result of political compromises and intimidation in the face of psychological warfare and cognitive warfare by the enemies of Islam and the Quran, but rather are owed to the sacrifice and selflessness of the faithful mujahideen (fighters) and resistance fighters in the difficult fields of Jihad, from confronting the sedition of Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) to defending against Zionist occupation and aggression.
“In fact, the blood of these martyrs is the guarantee of the survival of security and the strategic capital of the nations of the region for maintaining stability and Islamic identity.”
The statement said historical experience and field reality show that active and intelligent resistance is the only effective and rational option for the governments and nations of the region against the expansionism of the global arrogance and Zionism, and undoubtedly, any retreat and reliance on imposed mechanisms and humiliating compromises will only lead to an intensification of the enemy’s audacity and threats and the imposition of humiliation on the nations.
“The increase in crimes and failed attacks by the brutal Zionist regime against Gaza demonstrates the stability and invincibility of the resistance front and the inability of this vampire regime to extinguish the flames of resistance. Resistance is not an institution that can be dissolved in political and security processes, but rather a living and rooted identity, thought, and culture in the beliefs of the peoples of the region, which is becoming deeper and stronger day by day.”
The IRGC further said Nasrallah and Safieddine were two distinguished students of the school of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and that with their faith, rationality, prudence, and exemplary courage, they transformed the resistance front into a symbol of the dignity of the Islamic nation and a strategic power in the region and the world.

The IRCG went on to declare its full support for the courageous and wise leadership of Hezbollah and the movement’s efforts to protect Lebanon’s security and continue the line of resistance.
It also said that in the current critical and critical circumstances, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps continues to support and defend the resistance in the region and considers the continuation of this path until the complete elimination of the occupation and the liberation of Holy Quds a divine, national, and unstoppable mission.
In conclusion, it is emphasized that the martyrdom of the resistance leaders is a turning point in the path of Islamic awakening and strengthening the anti-Zionist front, and all nations of the region must fulfill their historical mission by maintaining vigilance, solidarity, and continuing the path of resistance.
