IQNA – The Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Yemen’s prime minister and several cabinet ministers in a recent Israeli airstrike on Sana’a.

Hezbollah Secretary-General SheikH Naim Qassem

Sheikh Naim Qassem sent a message to Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement to sympathize with Yemen over the martyrdoms.

He emphasized that the Israeli regime’s aggression indicates the enemy’s defeat, barbarity, and the indiscriminate killing of humans.

The Hezbollah chief added that the enemy carried out this aggression because it is incapable of confronting the armed forces and brave military leaders of Yemen in the battlefield.

Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmad Ghaleb Al-Rahawi along with a number of cabinet ministers were martyred in the Israeli regime’s airstrikes on Thursday, August 28.

It marks a significant escalation in Israel’s ongoing military aggression against Yemen.

The Ansarullah movement of Yemen said in a statement on Saturday that Al-Rahawi was targeted along with other members of the government during a workshop.
