Iran’s Enemies Warned against Any New Miscalculation
At the time of commemorating the Sacred Defense Week (marking the anniversary of the beginning of the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran in the 1980s), and (a few months after Iran’s victory in the 12-day war), which is a manifestation of national unity and cohesion, and the defeat and failure of the Zionist and American aggressors in achieving their evil and satanic goals against the Revolution and the Islamic system, “We assure the great nation of Iran that the powerful IRGC, along with other armed forces, is increasing its combat power, offensive and defensive power, and strategic capabilities every day,” the statement said.
“The experience of the first and second Sacred Defense has shown that effective deterrence is the product of constant preparation, creativity in designing strategies, tactics, and operations in the battle against enemies, and the continuous development of advanced defense and military technologies and systems in all areas,” it added.
“Accordingly, the process of strengthening the Armed Forces in various fields will not stop, and in the event of any new miscalculation or aggression by the enemy, the Islamic Republic of Iran will have the upper hand and the initiative on the battlefield and will give the enemy another deadly and instructive response.”
The IRCG added that the defeat of the enemies in two imposed, full-scale, intense and global wars against the Islamic Republic and the failure of the enemies in other security, political, economic, psychological, and media battles and attempts to create chaos and internal destabilization showed that the Iranian nation, with vigilance, insight and sacred unity, stood like a steel fortress against the enemies’ combined war and thwarted their plans, just as the Iranian people are ready, if necessary, to teach new lessons to any aggressor and intervener.
“The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, while honoring the memory, names, and epic deeds of the martyrs, veterans, and warriors of the 8-year and 12-day Sacred Defense, expresses gratitude for the intelligence and sacred unity of the zealous Iranians in confronting any threat or aggression from the enemy camp against the Islamic homeland and warns that any mistake by the enemies, especially the fake and criminal Zionist regime and the arrogant and deceitful American ruling body, towards the national interests and security or territorial territory of the Islamic Republic, will be met with a decisive, crushing, timely and regret-inducing response from the Armed Forces and the powerful defenders of the homeland, especially the IRGC.”
