According to Saba Net, participants in this rally, held on Saturday, shouted slogans condemning the crime of insulting the Muslim Holy Book and emphasized their consistent position in supporting the Palestinian people.
A statement released about the rally said insulting the Holy Quran as the holiest Islamic sanctity is one of the repeated and organized attacks and part of the all-out Zionist war against Islam, Muslims, and their holy sites.
The rally participants, reiterated that their stance derived from the faith of the Yemeni people and expressed their anger and opposition to the repeated insults by the United States and Zionism against Islamic sanctities.
The statement held the US, the UK and the Israeli regime fully responsible for the repeated insults to the Book of God, saying it reflects their intense hatred and open hostility towards Islam and Muslims.
The statement went on to say that the insult under any deceptive cover such as freedom of speech or other fake titles will not go unpunished.
It noted that all such covers collapse with any criticism of the crimes of the Zionist enemy in America and other Western countries.
Emphasizing the continuation of the boycott of Israeli and American goods, the statement called on the Muslim Ummah to take action and mobilize to express strong anger and resolute rejection of this heinous crime that has targeted the holiest Islamic sanctities.

Last week, in a controversial move in Plano, US state of Texas, Florida Republican Senate candidate Jake Lang insulted the Holy Quran, placing a copy of the Holy Book in the mouth of a pig during a demonstration, which angered Muslims, human rights activists, and international observers and caused widespread shock at the domestic and international levels.
In a video published on social media, Lang appeared holding a piglet with a copy of the Quran in its mouth, describing the animal as “the weakness of Islam” and saying: “This is your weakness, Muslims. We will send you back to where you came from, carrying pigs in our hands and Christ in our hearts.”
The act sparked outrage from local communities and human rights organizations, who condemned it as an act of inciting religious hatred and stressed that such moves do not contribute to any cultural discussion about religion or society.
The incident also sparked widespread controversy on social media, with users sharing videos criticizing the act as a clear provocation and an insult to the feelings of millions of Muslims in the United States and around the world.
