Saudi Arabia Launches 27th Nat’l Quran Contest
Titled ‘King Salman bin Abdulaziz Prize’, the competition has been organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Gate Al-Saudia reported.
It is aimed at promoting Quranic activities in the country at different levels.
The preliminary stage is taking place in six categories in two sections for girls and boys in various regions of Saudi Arabia in preparation for the final stage.
The finals will be held in the lunar Hijri month of Sha’ban in the capital Riyadh, during which the best will be introduced.
According to organizers, a total of 7 million Saudi riyals have been earmarked for this competition, and these prizes will be awarded to the top winners in the six categories.

The ceremony to honor the winners in the boys’ section will be held on February 20, 2026, in Riyadh, and the ceremony to honor the girls will be held in the Saudi capital next day.
