
In a meeting with Iranian Cultural Attaché in Uganda Abdollah Abbasi, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajee praised the various cultural, religious, and missionary activities that have been carried out by the Iranian Cultural Center in the African country.
He especially hailed the holding of a scientific meeting on dialogue between Islam and Christianity, hosting of more than 130 weekly programs titled “Peace at a Glance” on Bilal Islamic Radio (affiliated with the Supreme Council of Muslims of Uganda), and holding of several nationwide Holy Quran competitions.
He also the Iranian cultural envoy for sending him to Tehran to visit the 32nd International Exhibition of the Holy Quran and participate in relevant specialized meetings.
Sheikh Mubajeh also appreciated the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the oppressed people of Gaza, and once again condemned the Israeli regime’s military aggression on Iran in June.
He wished Iran peace, security, tranquility, success and pride.
At the beginning of the meeting, Abbasi, whose term is about to conclude, presented a brief report on the programs and activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Center in Uganda over the past three years.

Referring to the support of the Grand Mufti of Uganda, he appreciated and thanked his participation and cooperation in implementing cultural activities.
At the end of this meeting, Sheikh Mubajeh presented a plaque of appreciation and two volumes of books to the Iranian envoy, acknowledging and thanking him for his valuable efforts during his term of office in Uganda.
