Muslim World Scholars Urged to Unite in Support of Gaza

IQNA – The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas resistance movement, called on the Muslim world’s scholars to support the people of the Gaza Strip.  

In a message to the scholars of the Ummah, the al-Qassam Brigades expressed their profound disappointment, stating that their sense of betrayal comes not from the regimes, rulers, or general Muslims, but from scholars and preachers themselves.

The message addressed the state of the Ummah's scholars in the face of the genocide that the Israeli occupation has been committing for about 11 months in the Gaza Strip, stressing that "fear from unjust regimes does not justify betrayal and inaction."

The resistance group challenged the scholars and thinkers by asking, "What is the purpose of your knowledge if you do not speak the truth in these critical times?"

The message warned, "Are you waiting until it is said that Gaza has been annihilated and Islam has been eradicated from it?"

It underlined that the scholars of the Muslim world are expected to unite and play a leading role in supporting the people of Gaza and organize popular rallies in front of the embassies of the Zionist regime and the US in different countries.
