The ministry’s Department of Islamic Research and Studies has released the book as part of its collective cultural projects series.
The ministry stated in its announcement Saturday that this new edition responds to high demand from readers and intellectuals, following the depletion of the first edition published in 2010 to mark the completion of the Mushaf Qatar.
Director of the Department of Islamic Research and Studies Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Ghanem Al-Thani explained that the book presents a collective intellectual effort from a number of writers and researchers from Arab and Islamic countries. It explores the central role of the Quran in the civilizational advancement of the Ummah, its approach to correcting previous religious perspectives, and its universal message to all humanity.
He highlighted that the book emphasizes the Quran’s role in promoting reflection and contemplation, encouraging inquiry into cosmic sciences as a pathway to progress, and clarifying the foundations of a righteous civilization and the causes of its decline, all framed within a Quranic vision that integrates faith, moral values, and material development.
