IQNA – Thirty Qatari students have taken part in a three-week summer programme organised by Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre to improve Quran memorisation and enhance educational skills.

Thirty Qatari students participated in the first summer programme launched by Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre, which operates under the Department of Da’wa and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

The three-week initiative was designed to help students strengthen their memorization of the Holy Quran while also developing academic and educational abilities during the summer break, Qatar Tribune reported on Wednesday.

As part of the course, each participant was expected to memorise two pages of the Holy Quran daily, in addition to reviewing previously memorised sections.

The programme is part of a broader educational framework that includes lessons in Quranic principles, practical worship, vocal training, physical activities, and a series of recreational and educational outings.

In addition to religious studies, students attended sessions in various disciplines such as cybersecurity. The programme also included chanting workshops and training on how to deliver the call to prayer.
